The much-anticipated sequel to Bullet.
Rock star Ethan Richards has fought depression and a host of other demons all his adult life, and it’s caused him to lose everything–his wife, his son, his friends, and he almost loses the one thing that means the most to him–his band. He hits rock bottom and believes there is no way out.
Enter Jenna McCormick, a feisty drug and alcohol counselor, a woman with her own share of troubles. She finds Ethan intriguing but keeps him at a distance while trying to help him face life without crutches. She feels a spark but denies it, knowing that a relationship with unstable Ethan could be dangerous for both of them.
Ethan knows what he wants, though, and isn’t used to being told no. Jenna isn’t willing to risk Ethan losing his tenuous grip on sobriety, however, and is prepared to deny her deeper feelings to help Ethan climb out of his hole, but he learns how to let go of his pain when he finds that someone is prepared to walk with him through the shadows. Can he convince Jenna that they should take a chance on love or will they forever deny their feelings in an effort to keep Ethan on the straight and narrow?
Here’s what readers have been saying about Ethan’s book:
“I’m a HUGE rock star romance fan. I think I’ve read every rock star read out there. When Bullet by Jade C. Jamison was released…I read it the same day. To me it felt like an honest portrait of what a rock star lifestyle is like. I really enjoyed all of Jade’s characters… But there was something about Ethan Richards that reached me. He’s a beautiful rock star, riddled with imperfections. Even though he did everything possible to make you hate him, I still love his character. So when I found out Jade was Rock Bottom, the squeal to Bullet, in Ethan’s point of view, I was ecstatic! I’m so glad he gets to tell his story, dirty laundry and all.” – Dee McGee – Booze, Bookz, and Bad Boyz
“Wow! I don’t even know where to begin. I really didn’t like Ethan at the end of Bullet. I wanted to keep not liking him, but at the end of Rock Bottom I cried for him. This book touched me in a way no other one has.” – Jen, Winding Stairs Book Blog
“This book was amazing. Jade C. Jamison is an incredible author. This book felt real. Ethan didn’t go through rehab, enter counseling and support group and poof everything is good. The story follows Ethan through the ups and downs of addiction and recovery. The reader sees parts of Bullet through Ethan’s eyes, from his POV. This book just made me love Ethan and Jade more. Oh and did I mention Ms. Jamison has a talent for hot and steamy s-e-x scenes? Oh yea, that’s in the book too. I give this book 5 stars with 4 hands down the pants.” – Bookaholic Mama
“Ethan & Jenna fall for each other. Let me say the sex scenes are some of the best Jade has written, very hot. Jenna is not sure if she wants to continue the relationship for a number of reasons. Ethan, who is now recovering & becoming the man he should be tries to convince her otherwise.” Barbara’s Book Obsession
“Ms. Jamison tackles substance abuse, clinical depression, and domestic violence in a no-nonsense, realistic format that will leave you reeling and then cheering. I think she nailed it! At times, I was on the edge of my seat and holding my breath to see what would happen next, but always wishing for the best.” Mary Lou PagePrincess Hoffman
