I was never supposed to fall for my best friend’s brother. And another.Suddenly we’re sneaking around like it’s a game we’re both too stubborn to lose. The banter?

Infuriating. The chemistry? Off the charts. The rules?

Completely out the window. We said it would be a mistake. We swore no one could ever know. But somewhere between midnight bets and sun-drenched mornings, I stopped pretending I didn’t want more.If this gets out, it could ruin everything. But what if the real risk isn’t falling for him—It’s letting him go?The Rookie is a flirty, fiery standalone sports romance with a golden-retriever jock, his best friend’s off-limits girl, and enough heat to turn paradise into a scorched earth zone.
