In Rebuilding Hearts, fifty-year-old divorcee Carrie Harper is eager for a fresh start. Recently retired, she is ready to leave Toronto for a small town in Eastern Ontario. On the impulse, she buys a rundown house in need of repair. She hires Mark, a contractor also healing from a painful divorce. As they work side by side on the house, their attraction grows, but the emotional scars from their past marriages leave both wary of trusting again.

Can Carrie and Mark mend their broken hearts, or will the weight of their past keep them from finding happiness?
